Seasoned industry professionals bolster Veramark's sales and product development programs

Pittsford, NY, March 11, 2009 – Veramark Technologies, Inc. (VERA.OB) a leading provider of Telecom Expense Management (TEM) solutions, today announced the hiring of three seasoned professionals to help the company meet the growing demand for its TEM products and services. Gary Miko and Keith Hadelman joined Veramark as Regional Sales Managers, and Matt Lennarz will assume responsibility for the Company's telecom expense management software as Director of Product Management.

Gary Miko is the new Veramark Regional Sales Manager for the North Central portion of the United States. Miko has more than 25 years of enterprise sales and management experience with companies like Oracle, Siebel and SumTotal. He was previously Area Sales Director with SumTotal Systems, Inc., where he built on-going strategic relationships with customers and was named manager of the yearworldwide in 2006.

Keith Hadelman is the new Regional Sales Manager for the Mid Atlantic region. He has 11 years of experience selling enterprise applications, as sales manager with PeopleSoft and Oracle as well as with smaller start-up software companies. "We are thrilled to have Gary and Keith on board," said Michael Suttle, Veramark's Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales. "They bring a considerable depth of experience in enterprise sales and account management to the Veramark team. Their market knowledge and management skills will prove exceedingly valuable as we strive to serve the telecom expense management needs of our expanding enterprise customer base."

As Veramark's new Director of Product Development, Matt Lennarz will guide the development of the VeraSMART Communications Management Suite, the company's TEM-enabling software application. Lennarz has more than 15 years of experience in information systems product development, project management, and telecommunications consulting. He was most recently eBusiness Product Leader at GE Capital Services, where he provided strategic direction and managed development of the Electronic Invoice Presentment & Payment software product for Xerox Capital Services, LLC.
