What's New in eCAS 5.0-5.1
eCAS® is a powerful, Web browser-based call accounting software solution for small- to mid-size organizations. eCAS lets you access business-critical information from virtually anywhere, providing hard data that improves your ability to make informed business decisions.
Combining the ease of point and click navigation with the control of a built-in robust reporting engine, eCAS provides easy integration with existing technology by including features such as simplified reporting, robust import/export capability, single and multi-switch configurations, built-in SQL database engine, extensive security, system and call alerts, and an optional Online Directory module. You can host eCAS software on your server, or access it as a managed service from Veramark®.
Featuring an innovative new look, eCAS 5.0-5.1 streamlines the operation for the user with an advanced user interface and increased functionality. Colorful user-definable dashboards help you monitor key data trends such as calls by hour, personnel, and extension—you can define the primary dashboards you want to monitor. Increased reporting flexibility is achieved with dynamic 3D report graphics, floating column headers and versatile ASCII report output capabilities. Rounding out the new product features, eCAS 5.0-5.1 offers an improved and simplified installation process, allowing you to download the both the program and upgrades via the Web.

Microsoft® Excel® Report Output
HTML reports now include an Excel link at the top of most pages, enabling users to extract page data as an .XML file for quick use in Microsoft Excel 2003 (or newer)
Support for VMware® ESX Virtual Server product
eCAS 5.1 supports the VMware ESX Virtual Server to run on the same server with other applications.
Real-time CDR from Avaya Switches via RSP
Now you can upgrade CDR collection from Avaya® switches using Reliable Session Protocol (RSP), from a 'poll-by-request' to 'real-time' CDR transfers. You will not need to reconfigure the interface; it will automatically be done for you.

Improved Installation Process
Veramark's engineers have dramatically simplified the eCAS installation process, reduced the overall size of the image, and incorporated a check of system requirements. Typically, overall installation times are now in the 10 to 15 minute range and installation normally does not require a system reboot.
New 3D Dashboard Functionality
Colorful user-definable dashboards provide three-dimensional representation of calls by time of day, calls by hour, calls by extension or personnel. Users can designate the refresh rate of the dashboards and chart graphs by bar, line, or pie type. They can also decide which four dashboards they wish to monitor.
Downloadable via the Web
To make the upgrade process simpler and faster, eCAS is now downloadable via the Web. The overall file size has been reduced by 87%.
Robust Reporting Enhancements
The new Dialed Number Identification Service (DNIS) report will be welcomed by corporate call centers and help desks. DNIS technology is available from various telecommunications companies and helps clients determine how to answer an inbound call by tracking the actual phone number dialed by the customer. Improved ASCII export capabilities include the ability to include header rows and commas for an easier import into Excel®.
